Emerson Leadership Club Visits Berwyn City Hall!

We are so proud of the 4th and 5th graders in the Emerson Leadership Club! These exceptional students, selected by their teachers for embodying key characteristics—determination, confidence, innovation, advocacy, empathy, collaboration, and adaptability—had an inspirational visit today.

They met with Mayor Lovero at Berwyn City Hall Council Chambers to discuss how they can make a difference in their community and explore essential leadership traits. They also learned about the importance of voting in a democratic society.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Central Fire Station, guided by Battalion Chief Pilch! Seeing our students engage with local government and emergency services is a powerful reminder of their potential to do good things in our community. Thank you to the City of Berwyn for hosting our future leaders!
